From my experience I would say that I made the best decision by going with a neurosurgeon over an orthopedic spinal surgeon especially when it comes to Dr. Barnett. He took the time to make his intensions clear and his motives directed toward my wellbeing. My pain is gone, and I would highly recommend my surgery to another patient considering the operation.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Dr. Barnett when I had my back surgery. His demeanor made me feel like he had all the confidence in the world in his abilities. He put me at ease with the “I’ve got this” attitude he had. The surgery was a success and I’ve done beautifully. He is easy to talk to and acts like he has all the time in the world to spend with you. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Dr. Barnett performed a L4-L5 microdiskectomy including scar tissue removal from a prior surgery. Fantastic bedside manner, provides clear options and in my opinion a world class neurosurgeon. Just a few weeks post-surgery and I’m very optimistic toward long term positive health.
